House of Cards (englisch für Kartenhaus) ist eine US-amerikanische Fernsehserie, deren Erstausstrahlung 2013 bei dem Video-on-Demand-Anbieter Netflix lief und die vorwiegend den Genres Politthriller und Drama zugeordnet wird. Sie erzählt die Geschichte des durchtriebenen Abgeordneten Francis „Frank“ Underwood, der gemeinsam mit seiner ähnlich machthungrigen Ehefrau ein System von Intrige, Korruption und Mord kreiert, um in höhere politische Ämter aufzusteigen und somit seinen Machteinfluss zu vergrößern. Die Serie entstand als erweiterte Adaption der BBC-Miniserie Ein Kartenhaus, die wiederum auf dem gleichnamigen Roman von Michael Dobbs basiert und ihrerseits erstmals 1990 ausgestrahlt wurde. Der Titel ist ein Wortspiel mit der englischen Bezeichnung für diverse Parlamente wie das britische House of Lords oder das US-amerikanische House of Representatives. Das Logo der Serie beinhaltet eine auf dem Kopf stehende Andeutung des Sternenbanners: Die US-Flagge wird in dieser Form nur gehisst, wenn sich eine Einheit von US-Soldaten in Not befindet. In anderen Fällen stellt dies nach Bundesrecht theoretisch eine strafbare Verunglimpfung eines staatlichen Symbols dar. Faktisch wird das Gesetz allerdings nicht durchgesetzt, da es in den USA verfassungswidrig ist. Aber auch das Logo der Serie verstößt nicht gegen das Gesetz, da das Bundesgesetz vorschreibt, dass die Flagge unter anderem 48 Sterne enthält. Produziert wird House of Cards von Media Rights Capital und der Produktionsfirma Trigger Street Productions, die von Kevin Spacey, dem Hauptdarsteller der Serie, mitbegründet wurde. Mit dem Ende der vierten Staffel wurde der Abgang des bisherigen Serienschöpfers und Showrunners Beau Willimon bekannt. Seine Rolle übernahmen mit dem Produktionsbeginn der fünften Staffel Melissa James Gibson und Frank Pugliese, die zuvor schon als Drehbuchautoren an der Serie beteiligt waren.Wenige Wochen nach Beginn der Dreharbeiten für die sechste Staffel wurde Hauptdarsteller Spacey der sexuellen Belästigung beschuldigt. Kurz darauf kündigte Netflix die Einstellung der Serie nach der sechsten Staffel an, die lange vorher geplant war. Am 4. Dezember 2017 bestätigte Netflix vorangegangene Berichte, wonach Kevin Spacey nicht mehr Teil der Besetzung sei. So begann die Produktion für die aus acht Episoden bestehende sechste und letzte Staffel im Jahr 2018. In der sechsten Staffel übernahm Robin Wright als Claire Underwood die Hauptrolle. Die letzte Staffel wurde am 2. November 2018 in den USA bei Netflix und am selben Tag auch auf den VoD-Diensten von Sky Deutschland auf Deutsch in einem Rutsch veröffentlicht.Ein besonderes Stilmittel in der Darstellung ist das wiederholte Durchbrechen der sogenannten vierten Wand. Hierbei richtet Frank Underwood, der Protagonist der Serie, seine oft sarkastischen oder zynischen Bemerkungen direkt an den Zuschauer, der somit in die Intrigen der Hauptfigur eingeweiht wird. Ab dem Ende der fünften Staffel übernimmt Claire Underwood diese Rolle.

Very close to Mendy in the game, both cards are similar to the stats point of view. However, Davies is a little less good in terms of defensive performance although it remains an excellent defender. A less sought-after card because the links are more limited through the need to have at least one Bayern player in the team but Coman and Upamecano allow good links outside the Bundesliga.

Recommended style: Sentinel, hinge (for boost to the pass) or anchor for more strength and speed.

Theo Hernandez, Milan AC, Serie A

Sometimes a bit forgotten by the players for the benefit of Mendy, Théo Hernandez is an incredible card on FIFA 22. With a higher level of physics than the two options listed previously, Hernandez is the best trio defender. However, its level at the pass is sometimes a bit limited at very high level just as its 3-3 in stars.

If you are moving with a team of Premier League, you have probably Walker in DD and you re right! The English player has been very strong on FIFA for several years, with a combination of speed, strength and high efficiency / high. Fugeful on FIFA 21, Varane is a notch worse this year. However, the French defender remains a wall with an ability to counter all shots nearby ... with excellent possible links in the Premier League (Ronaldo, Fernandes, KDB) but also via the nation (mbled, kanté, Mendy) and overall Good stats, Varane is the most meta DC. Note that for the moment the OTW version is equivalent to the gold card.

This could surprise some but Kimpembe is the best central defender of League 1. Honestly, it is easy to compare to a map as varane as the PSG player is effective in defense. In addition, by his club and his nation, Presnel is perfectly usable with the best FIFA cards 22.

David Alaba OTW, Real Madrid, Liga

Honestly we are surprised by the relatively low price of David Alaba, both in OTW and gold. The card itself is very good but the player is even stronger in the game, with an incredible agility in the box, allowing to win the majority of 1v1. If it is possible to link Alaba to excellent cards like Mendy, Courtois or Militao, the Nation will limit its high-level interest.

If Cordoba was French, the map would be the most sought after DC on FIFA 22. This was Heroes is incredible in every way: fast, agile, complete defensively. The only limit remains its size on a meta that allows the air game to attack. If you are looking to link some Serie A cards, Cordoba is a must have.

Maxence Lacroix, Wolfsburg, Bundesliga

A superstar in Tots on FIFA 21, Lacroix takes advantage of a big boost to be the META card in defense for the German championship. If the card is a bit limited at the level of the pass and mobility, the stats are quite incredible for an overall score of 79. In addition, the Nation (France) allows excellent links in addition to those of its club with CASTEELS, MBABU and ROUSSILLON.

VIRGIL VAN DIJK, LIVERPOOL, Premier League

Fully op on FIFA 20 but less forte last year, Van Dijk seems back in the first category.
