Newcastle United please focus on its fans
After the assumption of the association by a Saudi consortium, the English football club Newcastle United asked his fans to carry no-imitated Arab clothing in the stadium.
Please do the fans wearing traditionally arabous clothing or headgear, which are inspired by the Middle East, if they do not usually wear them, wrote the club in a message.
Some fans had been carried in the stadium last Arab-inspired headgear or robes. This could be culturally inappropriate and people could feel attacked. However, this is not the case with the new owners of the association.
The Premier League had approved the acquisition of Newcastle United by a consortium with Saudi participation, as the club is not under the control of Saudi Arabia from its point of view.
The public mutual fund Saudi Arabia is said to hold 80 percent of the consortium and is now majority owners of the association.
In addition, the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed is Salman, which are accused of serious human rights violations, the most influential man of the Fund. However, because the Fund is considered separated from the state , a transition from the league view was admissible.
