Cyberpunk developer 2077 knocks down Xbox Game Pass rumors

CD Project Red has denied that Cyberpunk 2077 will arrive at Xbox Game Pass after the rumor that circulates that, in fact, it could be doing exactly that. It all started when a brief promotional video in support of Xbox Cloud Gaming that will come to the consoles included a brief clip of cyberpunk 2077 and Xbox Cloud Gaming is part of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions. The problem, of course, is that CYBERPUNK 2077 is not currently at Xbox Game Pass or has been announced that it will arrive at the Subscription Service.

The rumor began gaining traction on Reddit when the discussion of the short promotional clip began. Notably, the original promotional video presented by the clip has now been eliminated by Xbox, and it seems that there is no replacement that has been loaded at the time of writing. And the Global Public Relations Director of CD Project Red, Made Wazowski, has explicitly declared that there are no Game Pass plans for Cyberpunk 2077. You can check it for yourself below:

Now, the implicit part of that statement is currently. The fact that there are no plans at this time does not mean that there will never be, but based on the fact that Xbox apparently withdrew the promotional video and the strong denial of CD Project Red, this certainly seems a mistake instead of an involuntary filtration. Before an advertisement.
