Resident Evil Village: Five million specimens sold

In a press release, CAPCOM announces that Resident Evil Village has been brought faster to players with five million specimens sold in May this year than the predecessor Resident Evil 7 Biohazard. Biohazard is the best selling part of the franchise sold with 10 million games. The five million remote units of Resident Evil Village make the game in 10th best selling games in Capcom s company history. Resident Evil 2 from 1998 sold 4.96 million times and took this place in the Capcom bestselling list of all time. The entire Resident Evil series has also exceeded the sound wall of 100 million games sold.
