Bora team celebrates with Higuita tour
The Colombian street bike master Sergio Higuita won the Catalonia tour. The 24-year-old was no longer able to take over 138.6 kilometers on Sunday on the seventh and last stage over 138.6 kilometers in the overall ranking on EX-Giro champion and Olympic champion Richard Carapaz from Ecuador. The daily victory in the sprint of the top group went to the Italian Andrea Bagioli (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl).

For the German Bora team decimated in the past weeks through diseases and injuries, it was the sixth season win. Higuita was changed from Team EF Education to Bora at the beginning of the year.
Palters goes strong
On the demanding stage, the Montjuic, the steep hill, on which the 1992 Olympic Stadium is climbed six times. Higuita is the fifth Colombian overall winner of the Catalonia tour. Team College Anton Palzer (Ramsau near Berchtesgaden) was with a residue of 16:43 minutes 25th and was therefore the best German.
